You can use a streaming server for that. See freeware Icecast for example.

p.s. I have tried to embed mp3 files, but I tried embedding flv files with Dreamweaver and they were acting like http streams.

 Hi!
Hey I just explored ''icecast'' in ''com''-''net''-''.org'' profiles - immediately I learned about the company'stats (pretty low in America and not recognized by American technology) and the services it delivers are geared for those ready for radio broadcasting which would cost in monthly fees and fee-based consultation services. The sites led to download links that are not recognized by Windows when you dare to download links to download you music on their servers. and when it leads to a page - unknown server - that leads you to hardcore aggressive advertisement wanting you to buy the ''Driver Detective'' that I learned is a lucrative scam!....if you used it like I did - not only did it blew out three laptops of mine - it cost me nearly a thousand to fix the viruses that Driver Detective put into my hard drives. STAY AWAY FROM DRIVER DETECTIVE. I have also gained knowlege today that Driver Detective is a shrewd strategy that promises help but leads the tester to get their hard drives destroyed, their computer to crash so that they would buy new computers. Its a doggy business. Thanks for responding - be careful using this source.

www.icecast.org is the official web-sites.

Icecast directory contains 3100+ streams. Let me know if you find any audio stream broadcasting software that is more popular than Icecast/Shoutcast.

You can learn about Icecast, download it and install on your own computer.

Anyway if you want to create something, you need to invest your time, your money or both. Here you have a choice: do it on your own or hire someone to help you. The latter is not a big problem because you can easily outsource your project via a freelance marketplace.

If using a streaming server on your PC is not an option, you need to pay for your web-hosting.

I don't see any ads at Icecast.org, and I don't see any problem downloading Icecast from
http://www.icecast.org/download.php

Anyway Driver Detective is not required by Icecast.

Hello friends!

Upon further investigation I have found a site that is cost-effective to turn your Mp3's into Urls. I pounced on WidgetBox.com so much until they FINALLY got the widgets to work - see my Editorials all over the Internet - ''Do Widgets Work? - Fact or Fiction or Are They Infected with the Swine Flu?!....'' Got allot of feedback from that one!

Okay I found a most effective site without entering into another Website Zone for Hosting that may cost a very ver small fee in the beginning but after reviewing and test at least 35 of these websites like YOLA.com/Heritage Web Solutions/Hit Website Solutions; Homestead/Legal Zoom.com Website Solution.... and others they will eventually all cost at Least a cool $450 BUCKS to complete when you add flash and glitter to em and THEN you have to have at Least 5 pages!

The Website to store your precious Mp3's that is most effective is called: snapdrive.net - Now I tried the freebie which was a joke and so I Had to do the best thing to pay for a year subscription for more reasonable and realistic storage. I could not fit even my shortest work on the freebie so thats a come-on but I looked past that as I am scientist and experimentalist - uploaded my song and wholla it came out to a long Url !! But the Url actually eventually worked well with the widgets after - Widgetbox took a bug out. God bless their Electronic ''Raid!''

Now to discuss ''American Technology'' versus UK/European techno systems I will do that in a new stream - ''What is Your Conception/Take on American computer technology....I have found that every four years I have to change computers because the USA technology is programmed to not last much longer just after the 3 - year warranty expires. No matter how much you try to take care of you computer ''babies'' they will Die no matter what you do. Its not long lasting and they charge too much for it - its overpriced work from cheap outsource labor....will continue discussion later to reveal findings from researching technology from musical keyboards; mp4's to PC's.

Now FROM Hong Kong I purchased a MP4 /Ipod for only $24.00 that here in Greedy USA Charges everyone $499.00 for and for the icing they add two separate taxes on top! When you buy a new one two weeks from now - just think how rich you are making someone - Thank you everyone!

Web-hosting for $450 ... May be if you have hundreds of thousands of users :D

One of the most effective and reliable ways to store files as well as to offer them to your visitors is Amazon S3

If they charge too much, then this is an opportunity for you to make computers cheaper and last longer :D
