individualize my system will upgrade IBX (click the Upgrade button or not)?

 

I have WMP 11(v11.0.5721.5268) so i think i will be able to use "fu4m 1.3 fix-2".
I go to:
services.wmdrm.windowsmedia.com/indivSite/en/indivit.asp
in order to individualize my system and i get this message:



"The file or device you are trying to use requires a component of Windows Media Player to be upgraded.

Click Upgrade to download and install the required component."

I canceled so my IBX won't be upgraded(I wasn't sure).

Is it safe to upgrade or this will upgrade my IBX ? If it will update then what should i do ? how should i individualize my system?

If you click the Upgrade button, it will update your IBX to the latest version (i.e. 11.0.6001.8015). Without having any IBX, you can get licences and play a DRM protected files, but you can't use FairUse4WM or freeme2.

drmdbg 2009/03/03 works fine with IBX 11.0.6001.8015, but freeme2 and drm2wmv produce unplayable files.

Untill lossless DRM removal software you can only use lossy DRM removal software, screen video capture software, direct sound recording software.

Or you can try to find another PC that is already individualized with older IBX.
