FreeMe2 stopped working with iPlayer?
I've been using drmdbg and freeme2 for many months now to remove the DRM off iPlayer WMV downloads with complete success. Sometime during August something changed with the BBC's DRM (I think). Although DRMDBG still retrieves the SID and FREEME2 decrypts the file, the resulting file plays as a multi-coloured screen of blocks with screechy audio. I've built a brand new PC, tried a virtual PC and rolled back to previous XP snapshots. No luck.
I'm fearing it's a BBC hole that's been plugged. Is anyone else still getting this combination to work with iPlayer? |
