Problem with Replay music and Napster: all songs come with unrecognized tag

Recently running Replay Music with Napster, it is going out to Gracenote to try and tag, but all music is coming back with tag of "unrecognized". Is there something that changed in recent Replay music? I think I am running 3.0.

Secondly, now that I have recorded a few handful of songs, is there a way to run Reply music again to have it simply go tag existing "unrecognized" titles with out re-recording all the files? Or, does gracenote have a routine or application that will run through a folder and tag everything?

In Replay Music right click on the songs and select "Tag Track".

What is the best utility for tagging media files?

We are currently working on a version of Replay Music that will allow you to save a recording session, so if not all of your songs were tagged before closing Replay Music, you would be able to re-open that recording session to try re-tagging again or continue recording.

Thanks! From the first part of your answer I get that I can try to retag those unrecognized titles (right click).... good up until I close replay music, ending that recording session.

From the second part of your answer, for previously recorded folders, Replay music is working on functionality to be able to open previous sessions/folders and go through a auto tag scenario? Do I interpret that correctly?

Can you comment about the timing of when the functionality is coming? I have a lot of songs that are now just a track number... with title "unrecognized". It will be a tremendous effort to go back and remedy these or re-record just to get auto tagging to work.

Replay Music will be able to open previous recording sessions, so you will be able to try to re-tag previously recorded songs.

But AFAIK Replay Music won't be able to tag any file from your hard drive. There should be a separate program for that.

Please try other tagging software.
