Hi

Recently I downloaded a movie which was ripped from a blue ray disk to Mkv format

My problem is iam unable to convert or split the file

Just I wanted the file to be converted to DivX format with Ac3 Audio (5.1 Channel)

Got very annoyed downloading many software’s and plug-in.

I don’t want to comprise with the video quality nor audio quality

I wanted the file to played on my DVD player which supports up to DivX 5

I never mind the file size whatever it may come Iam ready to bare number of DVDs

My target was to get the Blue ray Quality of sound and video on DivX Video

Wanted Format

Video = DivX or Xvid without Quality loss 720 x 576 resolution

Audio Ac3 or Acc with 6 Channel and without Quality loss

I want the video file to splited into many parts minimum 6 because DVD players cant read too much of file size

First of all you can't convert MPEG-4 AVC video to MPEG-4 video without quality loss.

You can convert MPEG-4 AVC video with AC-3 audio to MPEG-4 video with AC-3 audio, but you can't use .AVI container, because it doesn't support AC-3 audio.

What containers does your DVD player supports? AVI, MP4, MKV, OGM, DIVX??? (please refer to the user guide)

Are you OK with downgrading audio to stereo MP3?

I would use freeware VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod to convert your video to the format supported by your DVD player, but you need to choose audio/video codecs as well as container properly.
