Help capturing Ustream.TV on-demand video stream (rtmp:// .flv)

Using Windows XP, Service Pack 3.

I have been trying to find a program, or other way, to capture archived video from Ustream.tv. I am not trying to capture live streams, only pre-recorded videos.

I have tried using several versions of Replay Media Catcher (3.0.1 is the latest I've tried) which advertises it can capture Ustream video and none of them work. 3.0.1 shuts down after a few seconds on every attempt.

2.0.* captures a second and stops.

They all work fine on YouTube.

If anyone can provide any insight or advise it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!

I don't have any problem capturing both on-demand and live RTMP .FLV video streams from Ustream TV with Replay Media Catcher 3.0.2:
Tutorial: How to capture live TV stream from uStream with Replay Media Catcher

You can also try other RTMP Flash stream recorders like Jaksta.

Thank you Stream Recorder! Are there any special setting or adjustments that need to be made to get Replay Media Catcher to work? I've tried various versions and my son, a computer tech, couldn't get it to work either. I just don't understand how it can work fine for one and not another. Thank you for any further details you can provide.

Have you tried Replay Media Catcher v 3.0.2 ? It is normal if previous versions do not work, because newer version of streaming server software require adjustments plus they have bug fixes.
