I am interested in capturing A/V off a Irish internet tv station.

The web-site uses HTTP .wmv Windows Media streams. If you need to download on-demand streams only (not live) you may use many streaming video rippers including freeware ones.

To burn Windows Media .wmv files to DVD-Video disc, you may use WM Converter or freeware DVDFlick.
