www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/: Can't record BBC Radio 1 with WM Recorder

 

Can't record BBC Radio 1 with WM Recorder. It will record most other stations. I used to be able to record BBC Radio 1 with it, but not anymore. Has anything changed? :confused:

It's possible they changed their streaming format

1. What version of WM Recorder are you using?
2. Can you provide a link to an exact station on radio-1 you're having problems recording, so I can try it for myself?

HELLO, I AM USING WM Recorder 12.3 AND I USED TO RECORD RADIO 1 LISTEN AGAIN PROGRAMS THAT ARE ON WHEN IM AT WORK, IE (DANCE)PETE TONG ,FRIDAY AT 7 PM.

WM Recorder was working fine for me a couple of days ago:
Problem recording BBC Radio 1 (UK) [capturing/downloading RTSP .ra audio streams]

But I tried to record today in both ADA and PRO modes of WM Recorder 12.4 and didn't work for me either. The program finds the rtsp:// .ra URL without any problem, but then I see 0kb.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - WM Recorder 14.1 WORKS GREAT with BBC

If you're using WMR 14.0, Open Settings and click Updates in the
current WMR (14.0) or download from:

http://www.wmrecorderpro.com/install_wmrecorder.exe


What's new

1. Automatic updates - upgraded files are automatically downloaded replacing
the exisiting files. The automatic updates can be disabled/enabled from
Settings.

2. The Flash RTMP files can now be recorded in two ways - with or without
real time preview (from OPTIONS / Flash RTMP download options). When the
real time preview is disabled the recorded file can only be visible when the
recording is COMPLETE or the user cancels the download. Otherwise you can
preview the actual file while the recording goes on.
