Recording Camtasia SWF through HTTPS

 

Hello All,

I'd like to begin by informing that I've tried the search function and various suggested programs. I'm having trouble ripping a Camtasia SWF file that is streamed through my online class. The lecture features audio and video (speech on top of a powerpoint presentation).

The problem is the HTTPS protocol. Many of these programs do not have this functionality. Also, I can only be logged in at one location which makes this hairy.

Can anyone please offer some insight. The only reason I have to record it is because I cannot fast fwd / rewind / pause / etc. I have to replay the entire lecture which is ridiculous.

Have you tried to record using Replay Media Catcher?

And you can always use screen video capture software like Replay Video Capture to record anything you see on your screen.

try freeware WebVideoCap first
