MP4 to DVD: How to burn MPEG-4 and WMV file to DVD

Somebody video'd me doing stuff and I want to burn to DVD. The file is an mp4 and I can view it in Quicktime. How can I burn it to a dvd?

I also have a wav file I would ideally like to burn to the same dvd.

I am a novice and really don't want to buy any software as this is just an occasional thing. I do have various programs on my Media Center computer

Any help is appreciated

DVDFlick is a free software that can burn AVI, MPG, MOV, WMV, ASF, FLV, Matroska and MP4 videos to DVD.

You can also use many audio/video converters like Replay Converter to burn MP4 files to DVD.

As for an audio file, it really depends on how you wanna have it on a DVD. Do you want it to be in a DVD menu, do you want to be able to listen to it while watching black screen?

Thanks for your valuable advice on this
Both videos have background music that the guys who made them added, which for me is not essential. I am interested in the video.
Won't the program you recommended also copy the sound?

Of course if a video with sound is converted to DVD video that has sound.

And you can buy a rewritable DVD disc for your tests. Or just burn DVD to an image file like ISO, NRG,... This files can be stored on your computer and you can use them with a virtual CD/DVD software like Daemon Tools (the latter was freeware... I hope it is still 100% free).
