Can anyone access the stream at south.fm and record it/MMS Windows Media audio stream

I need to record an mms audio stream.

I can access it directly from the website, but not through any stream playing/recording software.

http://www.south.fm/

On the top right, click "Listen Live". This works. However when I go to view source, copy the url (mms://193.218.160.20/timefm1073) and put it into a stream receiving program it comes up with various errors depending on the software I use. I've tried:

- MPlayer
- gmms
- SDP Downloader
- VLC Media player

Please could someone see if they can access the stream without going via the website?!

Thanks!!!

I haven't tried it yet, but the best stream capture software for Windows Media streams is I was able to capture these Windows Media http:// .wmv streams with WM Recorder. In the PRO mode it can capture packets coming to your Windows Media Player.

You may also wanna try freeware WebVideoCap.

You don't need to paste the URL into the Windows Media Player. Just play your stream in your browser (the web-page will have the embedded Windows Media Player)

p.s.
How to open a URL with Windows Media Player (play stream with WMP)
