want to create an internet TV - help please

 

hello everyone :)

I want to make an online TV, I want my joomla site to be an online TV, I want it to be like a tv, i mean SCHEDULED, with a playlist, which movies to play, an ORDER of movies... I dont want users to choose video, I want there to be a STREAMING VIDEO, and I want it to be STREAMED from my FTP, i mean I will upload movies or any kind of videos on my FTP, then I'll make schedule, an order of the movies to play, so it would be like a tv. but from my ftp...

is it possible?
help me out please...

You need a streaming server to stream your own movies. Or you can use video sharing services like youtube. Please read other threads of this forum.

could you provide links from this forum about setting up a streaming server please? if there is such thread here of course :)
youtube and such services are not good idea for me, I want my own streaming server (I didnt know what was its name, before your post) :)

The forum doesn't have any instructions on setting up your streaming server. First of all you need to choose what streaming server software you wanna use. It might be freeware red5 or commercial flash media services or something else.
