ReStream a protected stream

ReStream a protected stream

 

Hello there i want to stream a username/password protected stream
but i dont know anyway of doing that, already searched but could not found anything about protected stream.
So is there anyway to do that .
Stream without people need to use username and password but just the people to watch the stream (maybe pass the user/passwd inside)

Well, you would probably want to download it first...people tend to NOT think kindly of people hot-linking/hi-jacking their own streaming videos to their own servers.

You might want to try a Screen Capture program for recording the stream(s), however. :-)

Well its my stream so i dont have any problem with violations plus i need to be able to stream it without having a pc open (i use my dvr to stream ) but i need this because when people use even the guest password they can switch between cameras and it switches my cameras too , so you see i dont have full control of my DVR

Can you just prevent guest users from using cameras?

Well look no because i want them to be able to watch but not be able to manipulate.
One thing to ask though why dont you help by helping me or maybe putting me to the right path what to use or what to do BESIDE just doing what you do now meaning (i ask something and the answer is people do not take good when taking their stream) so my question not answered, then i send some details and answer is why dont you just prevent them (question still not answered) so my mr stream whatever you are not helping just mocking the issue but thanks.
When people come here for here either you help them either not pls dont waste their time stating the obvious.
