Unusual DVR remote viewing issue

I can view my 16 CH DVR remotely if I plug my PC in to my cable modem directly but when connected to my Dlink wireless router I get no video display. I can login to it but no video. I cannot find any reference to opening ports on the remote router. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Scroll down to Dlink in the left hand column
You can use gadspot IP camera for the device if you are using AVTech DVRs.
