You can barely hear me when I record a video..

You can barely hear me when I record a video..

 

I have a creative webcam, and whenever I record a video you can barely hear me even if my speakers are turned full blast and the mic is next to my mouth. What can I do to make the sound better? It was perfect before, then my computer crashed and the settings were resetted and I can't remember what I did to it.

In your audio recording settings try to set up your Mic to use "Microphone boost"
