Can I unDRM WMV files if I am running Vista x64 SP1...

... With all the updates installed?

I got my computer yesterday and there wasn't any updates to install when I ran Microsoft Software Update. So it seems that my system is fully up to date.

I tried reading the FAQs, but I am new to Windows (and to Vista) and I found the FAQs to be a little confusing, especially because they keep linking to other pages, with newer / different information, etc.

I just don't want to waste my time on trying to unDRM my videos if it is not possible with all the software updates installed, running Vista x64 Ultimate.

It is harder to remove DRM on Windows Vista, than on Windows XP. The x64 version is even worse.

But you can always try DRM removal software, it is not that difficult.
