Error of Replay Media Catcher: Sorry, could only download a partial RTMP streamI have been downloading a daily program from bbcamerica.com for months with Replay Media Catcher. It has worked more than a hundred times. (I do this because the program is posted for a limited time, and I am often behind in viewing! It's like my personal DVR system!)
Suddenly, RMC no longer works. It downloads only 31k and then gives me the "Sorry, partial stream" message. What could have changed that would make this no longer work? Could BBCA be using a different sort of flash player? Is there anything I can try? It just makes no sense to me that with no obvious changes to how I'm viewing the program, RMC would suddenly not be able to record the stream. P.S.: As a test, I tried to record an episode I already have and got the same error. So apparently even episodes that could be captured last week now no longer work. I'm baffled! Thanks for any help! |

Re: Error of Replay Media Catcher: Sorry, could only download a partial RTMP streamI've tried to record from bbcamerica with the newest version of Replay Media Catcher 2.20. All the recorded streams were broadcasted through the HTTP protocol.
Replay Media Catcher had no any problem recording HTTP .FLV streams. And you can always use freeware HTTP FLV recorders if you like: How to record/download/capture/save Macromedia/Adobe Flash .FLV video HTTP stream from embedded player Are there any other streams that I can try? Should I be registered to watch them? |

The main stream I am interested in is Hollyoaks... and it seems like the site changed to broadcasting just that stream in RTMP. You are right, the http streams still record fine. It's just that one program. Grrrr. I have tried to Media Catcher 2.2 also, and had no luck.
