How to download/rip/save/catch/snag/capture/record imeem.com videos

 

I tried just bout everything, from Orbit Downloader, WM Recorder, Replay Media Catcher, FLV Recorder, Replay AV.

It never records the whole video, just about 100 KB. and thats it closes it. Imeem seems to have upgraded there anti-leech progriam. I know when i use replay media catcher, or flv recorder. the program crashes when i try to record imeem.com videos

Any1 know how to record imeem.com videos for windows vista

Pretty tough case. Besides having a larger header, these video streams feature the following:
FLV Recorder should be a nice solution for this, but it doesn't work for me.

Besides FLV Recorder IMHO only the programs with Auto recording like WM Recorder and Replay Media Catcher might be able to record such streams... but we still need to wait for the newer versions of them...

So far screen video capture software seems to be the only alternative.

I believe free MusicZilla works although you are limited to only 10 downloads per day. I use a vmware image to workaround this limitation.

At least the developers of WM Recorder and Replay Media Catcher are working on the problem with recording videos from imeem.com

You maybe try Bit Recorder, we are working the new-style recorder.

its easy
use freeware WebVideoCap software

it records audios and videos from imeem
all you need to do is click Start Capture before you play the video or audio

if you use Vista/SP1,make sure you select winpcap driver as capture method

How can we record imeem.com FLV music audio files by capturing packets with PIAFCTM

 

I've downloaded and installed PIAFCTM 2.2.2 . And then tried to capture IMEEM files by using the following instructions:

1. Launch PIAFCTM
2. Select File mode
3. Choose a folder to which captured files will be saved
4. Hit the Start button
5. Navigate to IMEEM and start playing the song
6. When the song finishes playing, hit the Stop button.
7. Open the folder with recordings and change the extension of the largest txt file to flv.
8. Extract MP3 file from FLV file using FLV Extract
