How to remove disturbing video "distortion"?

Hi,

i dont know how it is called, but i guess everyone has seen it in some "broken" video files.

Sometimes when i record streams, i get videos, where the half of the screen (more or less), has a greenish/pink distortion, like disturbing stairs of pixels.

This effect seems to happen sometimes, when i watch tv with a pc software, while recording a stream.

It seems to me, like this is a type of frame-overlay. You can still see the video behind it, but its "unwatchable".

Is there any way to remove this "effects" from a video?

Try this it's helped me in the past fix currupt / recordings with missing packets that had green screen, you need to have a file using the exact same codecs, bitrates and fps, which can be checked with GSpot or Mediainfo there's an earlier free version irc.

SEETEC HDMI to USB3.0 capture

The beauty of the capture is that it doesn't require any installation of drivers,
and will work with most software across Mac and PC.
Allowing you to stream to OBS, LYNC, Skype, Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and many more.

It is compatible with UVC video capture and YUV 422 video output. Support the software that based on DirectShow.
Support the video with Full HD resolution.
