mtv.com & vh1.com for people outside the US (how to overcome geo restrictions)?

 

is it possible somehow maybe with the right program to capture videos from the abovementioned even if you're not in the US ?

i don't know exactly how they check my status but maybe i could set up a 2nd system with an US-version of windows XP - proxy server is mostly troublesome but i don't know if necessary in this case

You can try

• Free US proxy servers
• A web (based) proxy (like peaksurf.info)
• Other MTV web-sites. Say, mtv.ca doesn't seem to have any regional restriction.

I know this is an extremely old question but it still relates to alot of people so i'll show you how to bypass MTV restrictions:

This let's anybody stream outside of US on MTV without a proxy, just by using simple firefox techniques.
