Convert DVD/CD to any format with small size and high quality

 

Could anyone please tell me which software is the best to use to rip DVD or CD and convert into WMV format in very less size and without affecting the quality of the movie?

Please let me know of a good converter which is the best you have tried. It does not matter if it is free or not, I will pay. Your help will be highly appreciated.

You can use Cucusoft Ultimate DVD + Video Converter Suite1 for example. Cucusoft Ultimate DVD Converter can convert the whole DVD or selected titles to many formats including Windows Media .WMV video.

Why do you need to convert to Window Media format? Why not using say h264/MPEG-4 AVC video codec instead?

What are your DVD ripped files for? Will you watch your videos on portable devices Creative Zen Vision, Archos AV, HP iPaq, Pocket PCs?

Do your DVDs have CSS encryption or any other protection?
