Need help finding m3u8 file for video stream

Hello!

I'm trying to find the m3u8 url for this live stream: https://www.yahoo.com/music/livenati...entatonix-2016. It hasn't started yet (starts in about an hour).

I've inspected the page source, and have found quite a few m3u8 urls, but none of them work in vlc (and also seem to be too long). Quick help is appreciated!

I found two m3u8 links in the cache and I tried them both on different computers and I think they both ended up recording the concert. I'm not sure of the difference, but this is what I found:

https://yahoohls-live.secure.footpri...leman_vtt.m3u8
https://yahoohls-live.secure.footpri...eman_2200.m3u8

you will get a higher bitrate offered when you use Chrome over FF:

highest bitrate found in Chrome:
livenation1p_dax_6128_60fps.m3u8

highest bitrate found in FireFox:
livenation2p_dax_4628.m3u8

Thanks, unfortunately, the stream has ended. I ended up using the second link I posted and got a pretty decent download from it. For the future though, how did you get those links?

I just viewed the page source to get those links.

I grabbed the 6k bitrate version of the Pentatonix show if you are interested.

Ya that'd be great! Can you PM me a link to it?

Also, when I checked the page source before, the only links I found were the ones I posted. The rest were part of a really long URL. Did you clip them from the URL? I just want to make sure I know what to look for the next time a stream comes on I want to keep.

Oops, sorry for the delay...

I managed to log on to the Pentatonix show too late. The last loop cut before getting the entire show. Sorry for the false hope/incorrect message.

I did clip those file names from the entire URL:
e.g. URL...../livenation1p_dax_6128_60fps.m3u8
