ismdownloader silverlight video not playable

ismdownloader silverlight video not playable

 

I've managed to download a video using ismdownloader and it successfully downloaded and muxed. However when I open the file in VLC Player, I just see the first frame and that's it. I cannot fast forward, rewind, seek, etc. I then tried opening in windows media player and the video plays but it's very fast like 5 times the frame rate. The audio is ok though.

So I downloaded the video again and the same thing happened. Is it the muxing process in ismdownloader or my pc? I've tried searching but cannot find anything about the finished video.

Did you manage to solve this problem? because I have the same problem and I can't find any answer.

Yes I did. I had to de-mux and remux with 30fps frame rate. If I chose anything else, I had severe audio sync issues. That solved the playback issues I was having. So I can now watch it as normal, rewind, seek, etc. Hope it helps :)

Can you please let me know what program did you use to "de-mux and remux"? and if there anything specific should I know to make it work.
