I had been using Snagit, the best screen capture and video recording for Windows and Mac. It has features like panaromic capture, scrolling capture and more.

I've seen a few that utilise CUDA and intel hardware encoding but not sure which is best, everything I use tends to stutter or drop frames on my 2nd gen i5 :( debut has game mode but the files it creates are huge like 1gb a min.
