De-DRM iPad Kindle files

I have bought about 200 DRM protected e-books from Amazon.
Most of them I have never even opened yet.
A couple of months ago I got an e-mail saying that Kindle 1.10 on Mac was going to stop working and to upgrade. I was too busy not notice this.

Yesterday, I tried to open one of my e-books on my MacBook. Kindle 1.10 which I have has stopped working. I spent 4 hours talking to Amazon technical support and the upshot is: they want me to upgrade my Kindle software, which requires me to upgrade my Mac OS to 10.9 which my Macbook won't run, so they want me to buy a new computer, running a new operating system, which doesn't run a lot of the software I use regularly, which only runs on Mac OS 10.6 because it requires Rosetta which has been removed in later versions. So the upshot is, I paid for 200 e-books and Amazon has screwed me.

Now I have found out that I can still download my e-books to my iPad, and I have done so and then copied the files over to my MacBook and tried to use DRM removal software to unlock the files so I can still read them on my MacBook. I have used the python script to find out my iPad's PID. However, no DRM removal software I can find has been unable to decrypt these files (a particular problem seems to be that I am unable to open them in my Kindle software on my Macbook because Kindle 1.10 no longer works).

Is there anything I can do? If so, which program will help me? And how must I use it? Thank you.
