Livestation .m38u streams.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to view Livestations streams directly please?

For instance try these two and see if you can connect to them:

http://wpc.C1A9.edgecastcdn.net/hls-...ink/b_828.m3u8 (CCTV NEWS)

http://wpc.C1A9.edgecastcdn.net/hls-...ink/b_828.m3u8 (France24)

I'm using both PotPlayer and Mpc Home Cinema and neither is connecting to these streams.

As far as I can tell the streams are not protected in any way so they should work unless maybe my service provider is blocking them for some reason.

Can anybody view the streams in question please?

Cheers, Colin

No connection problems so far. Looks like everything works as expected:

Re: Livestation .m38u streams.

Thanks for the reply.

After going bonkers over this I had a look at some Windows Updates installed before the trouble started and I finally found one relating to a DirectX update that was the problem (and has messed up other people as well.)

After uninstalling it I can play the streams perfectly now.

Good job I haven't got Win10 where none security updates are forced on you as that may have finished me off. B Microsoft!

So all is now well and hopefully it will stay that way.

Cheers, Colin
