I need to know the following:
1. version of AVS Video Editor
2. version of Windows
3. processor, memory
4. Have you tried to disable antivirus when running AVS Video Editor?
5. Do you run any other procesor/memory-consuming software application simultaneously with AVS video editor?

As for other programs, there are lots of choices: Pinnacle Studio 11, Nero Vision Express, Adobe Premiere,...
