my problem is that after i downloaded a stream about 30-40 seconds into the video the video freezes but the audio continues to play as a replay of about 30-40 seconds bac in the video. when these 30 seconds have passed the video resumes in sync with the audio. is there any way to fix this. or is there another stream downloader i should use?

sounds like a timestamps problem to me,
you could try to fix it with rmc's repair function by setting the time manually. sometimes the sound gets missing tho.
