Epikchat.com - RTMPE using StreamTransport - Stumped!Hey guys, long-time lurker of the site...got a stumper for ya (hopefully not).
I frequent Epikchat.com to chat with some of my compadres and have been really stumped on getting the stream to record via a stream-recording client. Also, I know this might not be the forum to ask about it, but the AV chat forum is filled with spam/no helpful info. Site:epikchat.com (you can log in as a guest to try it) Here's what I know: Since my HiDownload program (my usual go-to for basic RTMP streams) didn't pick up the streams, I figured they had to be in a HDS, RTMPE, etc. protocol. I also used WireShark to sniff to no avail (it only picked up the IP address, even with the prospective RTMP filters, etc.). Just browsing earlier, I came across the updated StreamTransport program which in fact is able to pick up the RTMPE URL (AWESOME, right?). It's also the only program I'm able to do it with. I will also mention that I have never been able to open up rtmpdump on my computer (yes, I know it has to be opened in cmd). It just opens and closes real quick. My problem is that when I open a stream on Epikchat, it actually picks up the RTMPE stream URL location and gives me the option to download BUT DOESN'T download and gives this error: Quote:
Any ideas on this? It obviously has something to do with the token. The extent of my knowledge goes right up until rtmpdump so if anyone has any ideas on why it won't open for me, lemme know. Sorry for the lengthy post. |
