Streaming Out of Area Content to TV

Hi Guys - I'm a technical dunce, so be gentle. I want to stream both UK and USA content direct to my TV, ideally without a PC/laptop in the loop, and controlled by remote if possible....... I live in Abu Dhabi and currently use a software VPN to get at UK or USA content, but cannot do both at the same time, obviously, so a seamless switch between them would be required.

Am i making sense? Basically I want to watch UK and USA content without being restricted to certain sites etc. Help?

C'mon guys, help me out with some advice here? I can use a VPN on my laptop, and connect this with HDMI to the TV, but I'd rather have some kind of set top box I can use via a remote control (just like my OSN sat box). I need to switch between UK and USA VPNs since these can't be programmed in to my router, and I'd rather not be restricted to the channel selection offered by the box manufacturer. anybody help?

You need three things to transfer media across your home. The first is a media source, or server, which you already have—your computer—that has all the videos, music, and photos on it.
