It's a 5-minutes preview for non-premium members but the video mechanics seem to be the sames as for premium members.

1) I can't find a way to download this video with rtmpdump. I always got an error. (the rtmpdump command has been generated with rtmpsrv)

Any ideas why it does not work with rtmpdump ?

2) I would also like to get the video subtitles which are not included in the file generated. The video is not hardsubbed.
But I can't find how to get them.

Any ideas how to get the subtitles ?

1)Thanks to hasomaso's help i have almost solved my rtmpdump download problem.

Edit: Everything now works for the download part since i have added the "-v" option (-R also work).
Before it always fails around 10-15% since the server does not seem to support the Pause/Unpause trick done by rtmpdump to speed up downloading as explained in an other thread

2) for the subtitle part:
The player does not seem to make http requests to an external xml, srt, whatever url.
But the subtitles must be somewhere since the video is not hardsubed.
May they be embedded with the video in RTMP protocol ?
If so how to get them ?

I finally found the subtitles hidden in a png file.
The file content-type was "plain/text" instead of "image/png".
I should have noticed it sooner :rolleyes:

I then found how to decrypt and decode the file through a function in a swf file loaded as an addon with the player.

I now got the subtitles in a .ass format

So now i'll just have to automate it through a script to get the videos + subtitles and then mux them
