Cannot download HD version from MTV with rtmpdump/rtmphelper

 

I'm trying to download a video from MTV.com and i successfully got the rtmpdump/rtmpdumphelper setup to work, however, it refuses to download the HD 1280x720 version. It only downloads the 640x360 version.

The only reason i'm using this program is to download the HD version and the SD video is not what i'm looking for. How can i make the program download the HD version?

First, provide link to the video, or an example video.

Next, the flash web player at many viacom sites will cough up the 720p link only if the player is in full screen mode at the time the flash web player initiates the connection.

Lastly, many viacom site videos (even 720p) are much more easily accessed using http links that have been uncovered from cell phone OS and tablet OS reverse engineering.

^ That is an example video. See how it only loads the HD version after 20-30 seconds? RTMPdump only snatches the SD version.

mtv.com not fully supported by public version of RtmpDump

try use 1280x720_3500
