Hello all. Thanks to kind work of Kyle Schwarz a new forum is available now for
Stream Recording / RtmpDump.

Old ways never change I see. Repost from deleted thread.

The situation at stream-recorder.com has become untenable. This forum has long suffered from

- repeated banning from admins
- repeated deletion of important threads "by accident"
- long time admins peddling Applian software (!)
- constant spamming from bots

Along with KSV until recently I have been hosting unofficial builds for RtmpDump. I have decided to pull those downloads until this situation with the forums is resolved. After which I would like to continue hosting uploads for RtmpDump.

SVPenn - why were you banned?

I know you're quite rude at times - I have not spoken with the mod yet that has banned you, but I work directly with the forum owners and have more authority than him - we'd love to have you stick around, but I need to see a change in your attitude. As for the deleted threads, that was purely a mistake as I had explained before - we had the admin re-post the cached copies of those threads at least.

We have alot of spam on this forum, and that thread was deleted with the spam in error - I know you had put alot of work into that one and am sorry that happened

"svnpenn" was banned by placebo for unsaid reasons. He is commonly doing this, even to senior members. This is why I asked Kyle to create new forums.

I'll be fair once I find out his reasons for this.

Well Sean - seems like he WAS quite clear with warning you and asking you not to behave in the manor you were behaving

No. He was not. He simply came across a post of mine that he did not like, then banned me outright without warning. It was only after I was banned that I was falsely accused. It is quite telling that you are allowing this discussion in public.
