How do I broadcast a live audio stream over the internet?

 

Hello Community,

I want to create an audio stream for a police scanner I have setup in my room. I want to create a live audio stream so I can listen via the Internet. I tried using Shout-cast and Ice-cast with no good results. Broad-wave, on the other hand, works fine, but it's not free. Are there any free solutions?

Well you can sign up for DaCast's (www.dacast.com) free trial for a month and use their platform. It is pretty easy to sign up and you get the best quality video and audio.
