How do I broadcast a live audio stream over the internet?

 

Hello Community,

I want to create an audio stream for a police scanner I have setup in my room. I want to create a live audio stream so I can listen via the Internet. I tried using Shout-cast and Ice-cast with no good results. Broad-wave, on the other hand, works fine, but it's not free. Are there any free solutions?

Not sure if you ever got help on live broadcasting. For live audio or video broadcasting you can use any of these platforms like Dacast(www.dacast.com) or Ustream. DaCast offers first month free for all their plans so you can play around with their features along with your content and so does Ustream I believe.
