Recording Parameters for Streaming Audio


 
I am new to the audio streaming world and have been tasked with recording meetings (audio only) and providing the result via our website. I am using an OCTA-CAPTURE unit with 3 Mics and the Audacity SW on a laptop PC to do the recording. Question: What is the optimal bit rate to be used within Audacity - note this is NOT Music, only speakers via Microphones. I would like to make a good quality recording however I also would like to make the stream as efficient as possible. The default within Audacity is set to 128.
