Movie Grabber 3 - Lossless DRM Removal

There is Japanese product called ムービーグラバー3 (Movie Grabber 3) that claims to offer lossless DRM removal for wmv files.

http://www.internal.co.jp/products/u...grabber/about/

I wasn't sure if it was just another screen capturing application, but then I read an article comparing Tunebite to Movie Grabber (http://tunebite.seesaa.net/article/282855438.html) and basically it said that Tubebite uses the usual screen capturing method with a 1:1 recording time based on playback length and that there is quality loss. On the other hand Movie Grabber somehow copies the movie's data and rebuilds it without DRM, this is done without having to play the video and allows for speeds 15x faster. An example of a 60min movie taking 4 minutes to remove DRM was given.

The site offers 3 tiers of the software, you need at least the 2nd tier to remove DRM and it costs 14980 JPY which is about 190.00 USD. They do not appear to offer any trial versions.

So has anyone heard of this software or used it? The price is hefty but if it actually works I'd be willing to pay.

Well, I was going to bite the bullet and buy this but I have changed my mind after reading bad reviews at Amazon.co.jp and Yahoo.co.jp. Also, if you live outside of Japan you have to jump through some hoops to buy the software. Credit card transactions are done through Japan Net Bank. BitCash (Bitcash.jp) is probably the payment option with the least amount of hassle, but that's only if you're already familiar with the system.
