its been suggested that I use keepvideo

29-99 Usd$ for the software 2 units needed so thats 2 times $29-99Usd for this.

My Mp3/Mp4 2GB media player is by Vizion yes I know you never heard of that brand:)

Is there a decent user Mp3/mp4 player user friendly good technical support,long battery play life?

Or should I just invest in a Portable DVD Player instead.

I am interested in downloading Live Streaming Video Content from YouTube by the way.

There are lots of ways to download videos from YouTube:

You can use free software to get YouTube videos. You may use say Replay A/V, that can not only capture but also convert .FLV videos.

As for the gadgets, it is very hard to suggest anything 'coz there too many options. You may watch videos on your mobile phone, Sony Playstation Portable (PSP), handheld computer, ultramobile PC (UMPC), players like Microsoft Zune or ubiquitos Apple iPod,... I would prefer smartphone with large screen or UMPC.

i like to use free online tool to convert flv to video format,such as zamzar,mux,ConvertDirect,i think they are good tool.

yeah, there are many free converter and downloaders on Internet, just google it. But in my personal view, free online converters always works very slowly. Some converters works very good but they need to pay.
