RTMPDump incorrect timestamps

 

Hey

I am downloading a RTMP link, the problem that I am having is that I am taking screenshots from this, but ffmpeg, mplayer etc all have problems playing the link.

I have taken 20 second stream but the players think it is 30 minutes +., it plays back OK as the players jump to the last 20 seconds (if using a desktop player).

Has anyone seen this before or know of away around this?

Were you downloading a live stream? If so, you'll have to remux it using ffmpeg to get timestamps working correctly because rtmpdump creates unseekable flv files when downloading live streams.
