Record my 360 games to make youtube videos?


 
Hey I'm completely new at this capture card business. I was just wondering what the easiest way for me to record my games for youtube videos would be? I have an hd tv and my laptop has an hdmi input so i was wondering when I connect them if I can use some sort of program to record what's on the tv onto my computer or do you need to pay money for a capture card?

May want to look into frapps. Dont know if it will work but its a good place to start.

Loved Fraps back in the day. Nowadays, there are things like OBS and even Nvidia Shadowplay that are a lot better for recording gameplay though.
