Is anyone else getting a steady stream of spam PMs?

 

I don't visit this forum much, but for a while now, I've been getting a steady stream of spam PMs. They're always from different users. I delete one and a couple days I get another alert about another piece of spam. Am I the only one?

I get them too and i'm an admin - lol

Unfortunately not much can be done -I ban them when I get them - but they just re-sign up with a proxy and another IP :(

I've gotten spam PMs for the past couple of days. I just got notified of another one and I noticed that the user "FLOK" was the same as the as last couple;



So I decided to add him to the ignore list, but it tells me that he's not a member;



It suggested that I check the member list, so I did;



Yup, there he is at the top of the second page of the Fs. So why does it say he's not a member?

I banned his acct - so he's no longer a member :D

could you ban all new accounts from sending PM's ?

Well, we just limited to ONE pm at a time for now in hopes this fixes things

We'll see how that goes for a few more days and take action accordingly.
