PS3 Game Cap Query

My apologies if this is answered elsewhere.

I'm looking to stream/record gameplay from a PS3. The research that I've done has lead me to numerous component capture boxes. My monitor/tv, however, only has HDMI, DVI-D and DSub connectivitiy - which I believe would mean that a component capture box won't work for me?

Firstly I wondered if I am correct in thinking the above, and if there any good, and relatively cheap, options which would work with my setup.

Install a video capture card into your pc if you are looking to record game play.
