stream ripper troubleshooting - Audio/video stream recording forums

Hi there!

I wonder if anyone has similar problems capturing mp3 audio streams in 256 kb/ sec quality.

While I do get mp3s that play on several players without problems, in every recording chunks of music - I guess several seconds - are missing in the middle of recordings. This occurs multiple times during recordings. -:(

In lower recording quality settings - 96 kb/sec, 64 kb/sec - all this does NOT occur.

I tested all this on several computers and with several internet radio sites. The 256 kb-troubles occur with any computer and site.

I use stream ripper 32 on a windows xp computer. - The urls I do get via shoutcast.

The bandwidth of my own internet connection should not be the problem here -
it should be sufficient several times over.

Can anyone help me?
