• Install freeware uTorrent 3 on both computers. Drag-n-drop files onto uTorrent, copy the link and send it by e-mail to another user.
• Install freeware QNEXT on both computers. It allows to transfer files and folders between computers using p2p connection (it is really fast since no server is required).
• Use online services:
  • jetbytes.com
  • ge.tt
  • justBeamit.com

I use Wuala, unfortunately they dropped the space trading mechanism, but even now it is a great alternative to file-sharing services, because of better security, imho.
