You can download RTMP streams with freeware RTMPexplorer + rtmpsrv, CooJah + Blader, Orbit Downloader, StreamTransport, shareware Replay Media Catcher, WM Recorder...

And you can to capture RTMP streams in real time while you watch them using freeware RTMPexplorer + rtmpsuck, CooJah (without Blader), Orbit Grab Pro, shareware Replay Media Catcher (in the RTMP recording mode), WM Recorder (in the Loopback mode). Capturing can be done in real time only, but allows you to stay undetected.

If you use Linux, try rtmpsrv or rtmpsuck.

I have modified the rtmpdump to add new option (-J | --weeb) to download or watch weeb.tv without interruption. i have also written a php script to automatically retrieve the authentication ticket and launch vlc. you just need to provide the url of channel page.

you need to install php in order to run this script.
you can launch it from command line

just double click WeebTV.php script and it will ask for url.

This is the BIG advantage of rtmpsuck. You don't need to know any connection parameters!

KSV: thx very much, i tried it, it is realy good, can you tell me how can i ad this features to rtmpdump, then i can compile RTMPdump for realtek chip (mips)

nullacht: i run it with rtmpdump because i run on media player based on realtek chipset without browser, if you have solution for this you can write me

here is the patch file. apply it to your RTMPdump sources and then compile as you would normally compile on linux.

Coud you explain me how to get Weeb TV tickets? I downloaded your Weeb TV downloader, I also installed PHP. When I open Weeb TV, it asks me http address I write it and after that it closes.

your php installation doesn't have curl module which is used by script. where from you have downloaded php? try the following link.

I used this installation. Ok I will install php.
Could you also make Weeb TV script for linux?

most part of script should work on linux as is. just change the path of vlc and runAsyncBatch function accordingly in script. i don't have any linux installation at hand to test it.

OK I got it working on Windows, I included in my batchfile, it works great. :D
Could you please release RTMPdump linux patched version cos it's not gonna work only with php script on linux as non patched rtmpdump doesn't recognize Weeb TV script. :D

Hi, about an hour ago they(weeb.tv) made some changes at their website. The script doesn't work any
more. Could you KSV have a look at the script an update it, please? If its some small thing just let us know what to do.

Apparently the script sometimes doesn't bypass the viewer's limit or just can not connect to the server while it's very busy.

I get this log(cookies.txt file):

script uses a trick to bypass the viewer's limit and it works in most cases. server busy message is only displayed when their server doesn't send auth ticket for whatsoever reason. probably they don't have very strong backend at server side and server chokes when many people are connected simultaneously.

some channels require higher bandwidth than others to view them properly. it's also possible that their CDN bandwidth is limited so it's unable to cope with higher number of users.

I'm using your script daily, even thought I have premium account on weeb.tv, because I'm always viewing several streams at once, and it's just more comfortable this way.
I really like the idea of bat files generated per channel but they simply don't work, stream opens for few sec and closes with "downloaded" message always. With manual input (php WeebTV.php http://weeb.tv/online/hbo2) it happens also sometimes, but changing /online/ to channel, c, kanal or live helps sometime.
So it's pretty unreliable and sadly I can't use it to schedule recording ;)

I've just read on their forum that they are being suffered by some problems due to high number of users especially in the evenings and at night(CET +1). People at the forum in general have been complaining about the quality of the service recently, even those with premium access.

generated bat files are not reusable because weeb ticket expires after few minutes. batch files just work as intermediary for piping to work correctly from script. if you don't wanna generate multiple files you can easily change that in script.

change the command in script to save output file instead of launching vlc. then you can directly use the script for scheduling.

they improved their streams and there are multi-stream channels, with two options of quality
it's different in address of stream; f.e. rtmp address for tvn in standard qual. is rtmp://.........../live/3/live and for hq - rtmp://......../live/3/liveHI

how to manage it in KSV's script? ;)
