Record private stream Livejasmin

 

Hi, I have been using Replay Media Catcher 3.11 to record the feed stream from LiveJasmin Freechat as well as the feed stream from the Private Chat, but for 4 or 5 days now when I want to record a private stream, it's not working at all. The Freechat stream is still being record with no problems, but now the Private stream can't be recorded.

I have been searching about this topic and I have read that since version 3.0.2 of Replay Media Catcher they didn't allow to record RTMPE streams. I'm not sure if LiveJasmin was or is using this kind of stream, but with the version 3.11 of Replay Media Catcher i was able to record the stream with no problems until few days ago. I wanted to know if somebody has experienced this same issue and if somebody has any idea of any software I can use to record the feed stream of LiveJasmin privates. I know there also exist software that allows to record the screen, but I'm not asking about that, I'm looking for a software that will let me record the stream from the site itself.

I hope somebody can help me with this.

I've had the exact same problem since Wednesday but I was using RMC 3.01. Now the pvt stream capture stays at 0. Any help would be appreciated.

I joined this forum just for that problem too, can't find a solution, not rmc4 can do it too, same problem, stuck at 0 in pvt, please help.

Bingo, Its the FLV Recorder, it does not even take from your bandwidth, it gets the direct stream from livejasmin, but don't fool yourself when you go to free chat and it starts recording, don't go directly to pvt, the recording will seems like it's getting the pvt but it's not, so do it the other way, go directly to pvt not first at free chat, and it does not continue to record the stream after you get out, it cuts it there because it takes from what you see in your flash player from browser.

Replay Media Catcher 4 allows to capture HTTP and RTMP streams as well. For capturing RTMP streams just go to Tools -> Settings -> RTMP Download Tweaks and set the program to record instead of downloading. IMHO this is one of the best features introduced in RMC 4.

Yeah we know that, i guess capturing livejasmin private stream requires some sort of login information, or they limit private stream for just one connection per user, RMC4 can't get the stream of livejasmin private chat anymore no mater what you do. I hope we will have some fix on this because FVL Recorder can't get what you always expect from it, i tried that too. Sorry.

FLV Recorder works fine, but that's just as if you were recording using Camtasia or another software just to capture what's on the screen, once you close the window, it will stop recording.

What I'm looking for it's just a software like what it was RMC until few days ago, which allowed to record the stream even after closing the browswer. That allowed to capture few streams at same time, so you could be recording the private stream you were in and at the same time, you could be recording another freechat streams from other rooms at the same time.

I believe Livejasmin made some technical changes on their system, they modified the memberchat applet on 5th January, which I believe is the day it stopped working, and since then it's not possible to record anymore. I have no idea what technical changes they did, so I have no idea if there will be any other way or software that will allow to record as it was possible before. Any help would be appreciated if somebody knows about this.

I know very well what are you talking about but i don't see the solution, what kind of technical changes? It catches the flv file, Replay Media Catcher 4 is doing the same, it catches, but there is no transfer to that file, I would like some help here too. FLV Recorder is not doing the job I'm very disappointed, so i guess it will be some screen recorder now.

I was able to record all private streams from joyourself.com (same content than livejasmin) with Wondershare Streaming Video Recorder, even after closing the live session, but i also noticed since about 2 weeks it stopped working..

I am only able to record the free sessions now, i am also looking for a new way to bypass this technical changes..i only noticed a small change in the rtmp-url of the private session file.. ("privstream" instead of "stream"..)..

Joyourself and Livejasmin are the same site, it just changes the template of the site, that's why the streams are the same in one and other. I have been checking several software but none seem to work. I don't know what they changed on Livejasmin but it seems they blocked it somehow for the stream not to be recorded anymore.
Does anybody know if Replay Media Catcher usually updates to fix some issues like this when it's not possible to record from one particular site, or they won't pay atenttion to this?

Not exactly the same site...because it never worked to record sessions on livejasmin, but it always worked on joyourself.com, don´t no why though..

You need to let Applian know that you have a problem. You can do it by submitting a support ticket or by asking a question in the RMC forum.

You can see that RMC is updated frequently:
http://www.applian.com/blog/updates/

So if it is not a secure stream that Applian can't support in its products, there are good chances that there will be a fix.

Hi, I'm wondering if somebody found any solution to record the privates again? Please tell here or send me a private.

I tried to ask Applian about this but they said they don't have a member account so they can't test the private thing.

I tried different software but none of them are working.

Any help would be appreciated.

It doesn´t work! I just tried it with Version 8.9.3.9., even the free shows can´t be downloaded with it..

I downloaded the latest version from the site and it doesn't work at all with livejasmin, I try to enter in any room and there is no stream getting downloaded at all, not even in free chat.

I downloaded GetFLV and I have been testing it.

Now it does record the stream from freechat, I couldn't check if it will do all the time or not because I downloaded the demo with the 10MB limitation so every stream stops recording at that point.

However, with the private stream is happening the same than with Replay Media Catcher, it finds the stream and add it to the download list, but once it should be start recording, it never does, so it just gets a 0kb file with no video.
As I commented before, I believe there is some kind of security that Livejasmin has placed in their private shows streams so that the stream can't be recorded. I don'w know if there is any way that GetFLV can sort it out to bypass that and make it work. If there is any way I could help by testing or contribute with any data which can be aported from private streams to figure out this issue, I would be glad to help.

Just a hint, in case you are interested in working to find a solution to this: It's happening the same when a model from the site goes to "Member chat" than when she is in private chat. That means, it's not possible to record the stream either. I think the site is using the same stream when a model goes to member chat than when she is in private chat, so if you could find a way to record the stream when she is in member chat, it will work on the same way for when they are in private chat. I just say in case you want to test it but you don't want to have to pay to enter into a private show.

What´s the difference between member chat and private chat? I assume you have to pay per Minute rates in both cases?

Btw. the only recording software which is able to record private streams from livejasmin is "Streaming FLV Recorder", but it only records until the live session is active. As soon as you leave the session, the recording stops immediately :(

It should stop recording as soon as you leave the session.

Replay Media Catcher 4 in the RTMP recording mode and CooJah without Blader can also capture RTMP streams. Both are usually much more reliable than FLV Recorder.

If you use Linux, you can try to capture rtmp streams with rtmpsuck.

Member chat is nothing to pay, it's just where models "hide" when they don't want to be seen in free chat and just members can chat there (for free) but nobody can see them when they are there. I just said because I realised after some testing that when the models go to Members area, the stream it's the same that when they go to private chat, so maybe if it's possible to figure out how to record that stream, it will be possible to record the stream from a private as well.

ok i see, but i don´t think, it makes a difference, since its the same url than for private sessions, so i guess they have the same embedded security feature, which blocks the recording of the session..so we have to bypass this feature one of those sessions, to access the other one also..

I'm trying to figure out a way to get them for free, but I have not the knowledge enough to get that done. I did some advance though, but need help to figure things out. Only people who are interested, send me a PM and I will give more info about this.

I have analyzed Livejasmin video.

I believe that they chance the IP address when god to private. There buy blocking download of the video.

I tried it, it doesnt work for me. It only records what you are seeing on the screen, so you cannot leave the private session and continue capturing without paying..

HI everyone...

I was able to record private streams on lj (without paying) one month ago.
But only for one day. The next day it doesnt work anymore.
I used Replay Media Catcher 4.
Maybe i had luck and lj was just working on that site?

So is there a new way to rec pvts?

What about other sites? Which one is working recoding pvts with rmc 4?

Hi guys ,i have a problem on livejasmin. Im using Replay Media Catcher 4 and sometimes im taking the copy protected message on free chat and i am wondering if anyone here has the same problem. It started 2-3 weeks ago.
The strange thing is that i get it only on a specific performer and not any other room ,is there anyway the performer see my ip or username and understand that im using the capturing programm??

Registered TubeDigger can capture livejasmin's free chat. Untill now, I did not find a way to capture jasmin's pvt sessions :(

Most of the streaming programs can capture the free sessions, for instance RMC or Jaksta.
