why Is There Is No Info re DRM Removal for iTunes 9

A search for iTunes in this forum turns up nothing. Why is there no DRM removal info for music in iTunes 9 Windows.

There also doesn't seem to be any free DRM removal software for iTunes versions beyond v6. Anyone know why?

Requiem 1.8.16 can remove DRM protection from iTunes 9.0.2

Thank you. Well worth 6.99 Euros for a 30 day subscription.

Please note that Requiem is free, but it can't remove DRM protection from rented files. We also discourage people from abusing rental licences. Please only remove DRM protection from legally purchased files.

Sorry, it seems you were talking about Rapidshare subscription. Please note that you can download files from Rapidshare for free as well. I don't see much sense to pay for it when you want to download a couple of megabytes only.

And make sure you found v1.8.16, not something older. It became much easier to download Requiem from torrent web-sites than from file sharing web-sites like RapidShare.

Requiem 1.8.16:

Someone knows how to remove DRM from iTunes 9.0.3.15?

The receomend Requiem Version doesn't work here. An error-message applied. Can't find the File. But the Path is right. Don't know what's wrong. Any Idea?

The latest version of Requem for Mac is 1.8.17. I'm don't really know whether it works with iTunes 9.0.3.15 or not. But you can always try to downgrade iTunes.

I understand 'intellectual property' and the protection thereof but they've gone WAY too far with their extreme limitations as far as DRM. As had to actually create an account (february 2010) thru quicktime/apple/itunes got the default, new and 'improved' 9.0.3 version which negates all prior Requiem 'fixes'. As these vids were purchased with 9.0.3 version are they only compatible with the 9.0.3 version? (regarding 'downgrading' quicktime, etc)

If you use Requiem 1.8.16 it works with iTunes 9.0.2, so you can't remove DRM from iTunes 9.0.3 videos or iTunes 9.1 videos. So make sure you can re-download videos before downgrading.

Try to use one of the latest versions of Requiem.
