Removing copy-protection (DRM) from Windows Media Player 11 Final.Lossless DRM removal software application Fairuse4WM doesn't support Windows Media Player 11 Final, so you should try to remove DRM (copy-protection) using DRM removal software like SoundTaxi, TuneBite, freeTunes

Re: Removing copy-protection (DRM) from Windows Media Player 11 Final.Sountaxi works with WMP 11 (audio .WMA files only)
TuneBite since v.3.0.0.11 (05-22-2006) has support for wmp11. If you have skipping/stuttering/jumping you when removing DRM protection from WMP 11 with Tunebite, you may try to reduce the recording speed (try say converting at 3x). freeTunes claims that they try to add support for the latest versions of WMP and iTunes. It work with .WMV files as well as .WMA, but it can extract audio tracks from DRM protected video files only. p.s. And generally speaking it is not always a good idea to upgrade to the newest version of software as soon as possible. For example, after upgrading to iTunes 7 my TuneBite stopped working. |

FairUse4wm 1.3 fix for Windows Media Player 11 FinalSomeone called "monkey boy" posted a fix for FairUse4wm 1.3 so now it supports Windows Media Player 11 final.
Many doom9 forum members confirm that it works, but not with WMP v11.0.5497.6285 or higher. You may use it at your own risk |

http://stream-recorder.com/forum/sho...18&postcount=4 Have you tried to remove DRM protection from the test files from fairuse4wm.com or ezdrm.com? Were you forced to upgrade to WMP v.11.0.6000.6324 or can you downgrade to an older version? |
Re: Removing copy-protection (DRM) from Windows Media Player 11 Final.the answer to the first question is no
the second one, i upgrade myself to WMP 11 and that's the version of my upgrade. |

Also it is usually better to install the older version of WMP to a clean system, you may try just to uninstall WMP 11 and install WMP 10. Don't forget to backup your licenses first. And remember that you can't remove DRM if you have no valid licenses that allow you to play DRM-protected content on your PC. |
FairUse4WM 1.3 fix downgrading Windows Media Player 11 Final to 11.0.5705.50432FairUse4WM 1.3 fix downgrading Windows Media Player 11 Final to 11.0.5705.50432 will help you to use with FairUse4WM 1.3 fix with the latest version of Windows Media Player 11 Final.
Here's what this fix does and this is why it works: When you downgrade Window Media Player 11 Final to the one in the zip file "11.0.5705.5043" and reindividualize after deleting the DRM files under "AllUsers", the new "Indivbox.key" is individualized BASED ON your version of Windows Media Player, so the IBX is based on 11.0.5705, and not 11.0.6000...and since fairuse4wm can handle 5705 you are good to go. The fix saves a log file of updates, so no updates will be forced on you that have been undone by this downgrade, because the update log file is still intact. Respect to all doom9 members! |
