www.broadband.bigflix.com: Can't even find which stream it is !


 
There is this website that features thousands of free full episodes. How ever no software is able to sniff the video. I've tried NetTransport and Replay Media Catcher but none is able to even reveal the video URL. They are able to get only the advertisement :rolleyes:

what version of Replay Media Catcher are you using?

Its a rtmpe stream

surprisingly, RMC 3.02 with the latest rtmp plugin can capture this stream

but didn't Applian already remove the rtmpe support from their updated plugin?e

Yes I am using Replay Media Catcher 3.01 with the updated plugins. So is there any other software that can capture it 100%.

I am still not able to download RTMPE using RMC 3.02 with updated plugins, how did you manage to do so, are you sure its not the advertisement that you are getting.

I can record this RTMPE stream with Replay Media Catcher 3.0.2, but I use plugin_zrtmp v.5.3.6.9. It had been released before Adobe forced Applian to discontinue RTMPE support in RMC.

But in RMC 3.02, v5.3.6.9 plugin gets automatically updated,ie, RMC 3.02 already contains the v5.3.6.9 plugin.
Did you mean using RMC 3.01 and using plugin v.5.3.6.9 ?

Sorry for the confusion.

As of January 28, 2009, any newly installed copy of Replay Media Catcher does not support Adobe Secure RTMP Measures.

Replay Media Catcher 3.0.2. that was distributed before January 28, 2009 was able to record RTMPE streams.

If you download RMC from www.applian.com right now it will probably have the same version of the plug-in, i.e. v 5.3.6.9. Otherwise old customers would update the plug-in and lose the ability to record some RTMPE streams.

I use RMC 3.0.2 and the plug-in v. 5.3.6.9 that is capable of recording some RTMPE streams.

So you mean if I download the trial version of RMC 3.02 it would be capable of capturing this stream (of course 70% only).
And can anyone please explain how to use rtmpdump for this stream?

Unfortunately I mean that only old customers are able to download RTMPE streams. Although the version of the plug-in is the same, this is done so that old customers won't update the plug-in and lose the ability to download RTMPE streams.

The problem is RTMPE and this includes SWF verication protection, i tried but i can't download this video. Let me try with SWF verification and i will let you know
