Online stream ripper (MPlayer based) - beta testers needed!

Something I've been working on.

Code:

The URL is NOT Valid Anymore
How to use:
Go to Schedule. Enter a name, give it a start time, an end time, and the URL of the radio stream (eg. "mms://87.117.200.35:9000/FORCE"), add it, and then collect your mp3 when the shows over.

Let me know if you encounter any bugs. The source is available on request, and will be released once this has been tested a bit more.

What kind of stream formats and protocols does it support? Is it based on any open source software like MPlayer, VLC?

Hello.

I want to thank you for your effort, by giving us this opportunity to save our radio files.

I want to know if the addres I put on your page will work, please :

Code:

http://serverroom.us/asx/listen.asx?sid=12452
If i open this link with VLC player, I can listen, but I dont know if it will work on this case.

If I rigth click on the address, it let me save a file "playlist.asx", which also works, on VLC.

I am mentioning this because I saw that in almost all your mp3 files the address end with some file, but I dont know the address for this one.

I hope it can still works, and if not, if you could tell me which address could I put to do it, please.

Beforehand, thanks you.

Shaka: Yes that URL will work.

This supports everything that mplayer does, which includes Real (rm, ram), Microsoft (ASX), Shoutcast (m3u, pls)

You may use freeware URL Snooper and other URL Finders to find stream URLs. And you may use WM Recorder or freeware WebVideoCap to record/capture Windows Media stream.

Hello again.

I have a question about the recorded files.

Two weeks ago I put an address and I saw that the files were recorded succesfully and ready for download; however, i wanted to download them today and they weren't available.

I want to know if there is a time limit for the files to be online, please, and if that is the case, I will like to know if you could put them again so I can download them, please.

Beforehand, thank you.

P.D. I am sorry if there are some mistakes with my English grammar.

Some stream URLs expire, so you need to find the new ones before downloading.

Hey guys,

Apologies for the downtime, but we're back with improved code, more space and bandwidth.

There was a minor scrap between me and some supposed copyright holders. They've been told to shut the fuck up and bother somebody else, so we're back in business for good.

Code:

The URL is NOT Valid Anymore
or the old URL.

Leave me a message on the shoutbox if you have any issues.

Ed
